Qualifikationen

• Experience in pastoral or welfare context with young people.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent organisation and time-management.
• Confidence with attendance systems and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider pastoral team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure acceptable and expected.

Aufgaben

• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer and manage child protection caseload.
• Lead attendance monitoring and intervention for the year group.
• Support students with social, emotional, behavioural and attendance needs.
• Collaborate with Director of Learning, pastoral teams and external agencies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers; contribute to assemblies and academy events.
• Use data to identify concerns and implement timely interventions.
