Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient SEND Science Tutor to provide ongoing one-to-one Biology-focused tutoring to a Year 9 student accessing EOTAS in Wokingham. This in-person role requires adapting to dyslexia, dyspraxia and ASD, with emphasis on autonomy and a low-pressure, supportive learning environment.

• Strong Science knowledge to support a Year 9 learner.
• Experience with SEND and one-to-one tutoring.
• Patient, flexible and empathetic approach with safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2-3 hours of personalised Science tuition per week.
• Support a Year 9 student accessing EOTAS provision.
• Plan engaging sessions tailored to the student’s needs and interests.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents/carers and professionals.
