Shaftesbury High School is looking to appoint a Year 7 SEND Teacher from September 2025.
In Year 7 we follow a primary model. This is part of our induction process for students to support them moving to Year 8 and beyond, where students will then follow a secondary timetable model.
We are looking to recruit a SEND teacher who will provide learning that will make a lasting change to our Year 7 students. This post will be ideal for a Secondary SEND teacher or an Upper Primary Teacher who would like to work in a secondary setting. We are looking to recruit a colleague who is a team player and at the same time operates with initiative in the school’s interest.
Our Year 7 curriculum is ambitious and engaging. The annual Year 7 skiing sessions are a firm favourite. Our Year 7 curriculum has a real purpose in starting to prepare our students for employability and life. We have recently opened our Year 7 block, which was purpose built.
