Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Leigh (WN7) to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, long‑term role starting in September 2026. The role involves supporting a Year 6 pupil with Autism and Complex Needs in a structured, caring environment.

You will provide one-to-one support, help keep the pupil engaged, and collaborate with teaching staff to support academic and emotional development.

Year 6 Teaching Assistant – Leigh

Milk Education is partnering with a well‑regarded primary school in Leigh (WN7) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, long‑term role starting in September 2026.

This role will be a temporary position until December 2026, with a view to transitioning to a permanent role.

This Year 6 Teaching Assistant position involves working one‑to‑one with a Year 6 child who has Autism and Complex Needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of the child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil's educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.
