Job summary

Milk Education is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Huyton (L36) seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term temporary position to support pupils in Year 6, with a focus on SEND.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–15:00, working under the guidance of the class teacher; KS2 and SEND experience are desirable, with opportunities for CPD and ongoing support.

About the Role

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located in Huyton (L36), which is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic temporary Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This Year 6 Teaching Assistant is a full-time, long-term temporary role supporting children in the Year 6 class, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is Monday to Friday, and the working hours are 08:00am-15:00pm.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils

• Help pupils stay on task and achieve their learning goals

Requirements

• KS2 and SEND experience (desirable)
