Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Year 1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Leigh, starting September 2026 on a long-term temporary basis. The role offers flexible days and a supportive, culture-driven environment where staff development is prioritised.

We’re currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Leigh, WN7 to support in the Year 1 class. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on supporting children to love life and love learning. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Year 1 pupils, responding to their individual needs

Requirements or Skills:
