Job summary

Protocol Education is assisting a friendly primary school in Colchester to fill a full-time Year 6 Teacher role with an immediate start until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS2 experience, and can deliver the Year 6 curriculum with strong classroom management. You will plan, teach, assess and prepare pupils for SATs, while benefiting from consulting support and a welcoming SLT.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and assess Year 6 lessons.
