Job summary

Teaching Personnel are assisting a welcoming primary school in Partington to recruit a Year 6 Teacher from September 2026. This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with duties to lead engaging Year 6 lessons and support pupils as they approach SATs.

You should have Qualified Teacher Status, with KS2 experience desirable, strong classroom management and a solid knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 desirable).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Year 6 lessons.
• Monitor pupil progress and support achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders.
