Qualifications

Ability to adapt teaching for SEND and EAL learners.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
Prepare pupils for KS2 SATs without letting assessments dominate the broader curriculum.
Utilise assessment to identify gaps and plan next steps.
Deliver or coordinate focused English and mathematics interventions.
Adapt teaching for pupils with SEND, EAL and varied starting points.
Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure purposeful support.
Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Communicate professionally with parents and carers.
Support pupils academically and pastorally for secondary transition.
Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
Respect and support the school’s Catholic values and ethos.
