Job summary

Qualifications

• Fully Inducted Teacher with QTS.
• Relevant Year 6 classroom teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum and Year 6 expectations.
• Experience preparing pupils for end-of-KS2 assessments and SATs.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Willing to support ethos and values of a faith-based school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for end-of-KS2 assessments and SATs.
• Identify and address gaps in learning, particularly in English and Maths.
• Monitor progress and use assessment to inform future teaching.
• Differentiate learning for a range of abilities and needs.
• Support pupils academically and emotionally for transition to secondary school.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff.
• Contribute to the wider life and values of the faith school.
