Qualifications

• QTS in the UK is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school is essential.
• Experience in Year 6 or KS2 is preferred.
• Strong understanding of upper KS2 curriculum and Year 6 expectations.
• Experience supporting SATs preparation is advantageous.
• Positive, confident approach to classroom management.
• Ability to plan engaging, challenging lessons for diverse learners.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain clearance.
• Two positive references from recent teaching roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Year 6.
• Support pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
• Prepare pupils for Year 6 SATs.
• Identify and address learning gaps through targeted teaching and intervention.
• Assess, monitor and report pupil progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and staff.
• Support pupil transition from primary to secondary school.
