Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a Primary Teacher to join a Year 5 class at a three-form-entry primary school in Telford. This full-time, long-term position runs from January 2027 to March 2027, with the possibility of extension.

You will plan, assess and mark work in line with school policies, deliver engaging lessons and work with a Teaching Assistant to support learning. QTS is required and ECTs are welcome.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Be confident leading a classroom.
• Have strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Be able to work effectively with a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons, assess and mark pupils' work in line with the school's policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons to a Year 5 class.
