Desian Education are recruiting a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Aintree. This full-time, long-term position starts January 2027, delivering Upper Key Stage 2 lessons and inspiring pupils to progress.

The successful candidate will plan and assess lessons, monitor progress, and work closely with staff to maintain a positive learning environment and strong pupil relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
• Confident delivering the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation.
• Positive, nurturing and professional approach.
• Reliable and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Aufgaben

• Full responsibility for a Year 5 class.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and implement interventions as required.

Desian Education are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Aintree.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner looking to secure a full-time, long-term teaching position from January 2027. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, challenge and inspire pupils as they progress through Upper Key Stage 2, and contribute positively to a thriving school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for a Year 5 class
• Planning, delivering and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and implementing appropriate interventions where required
• Preparing pupils for the increasing academic expectations of Upper Key Stage 2
• Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders

£120 - £232 per day (M1-M6), dependent on experience.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Full Enhanced DBS
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Confident delivering the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Has strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• Demonstrates a positive, nurturing and professional approach
