SANZA Teaching Agency is supporting a vibrant primary school in Hackney, seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to blend whole-class support with targeted intervention work. The role offers a stable, long-term contract starting 2 November 2026 and running through July 2027, with a day rate starting at £100 and rising to £124 from Week 13 under AWR.

• Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) is desirable.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Targeted Small-Group Support: Collaborate directly with an existing TA to co-deliver an alternative learning program tailored for 4 children, keeping them engaged, motivated, and achieving their individual targets.
• General Classroom Support: Transition smoothly into the wider Year 4 classroom, assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, resource preparation, and behaviour management.
• Fostering Inclusivity: Ensure that the children on the alternative program feel fully included, supported, and confident both inside and outside the main classroom.
• Progress Tracking: Give feedback to the class teacher and SENDCo on individual milestones, breakthroughs, and areas needing extra attention.
