Job summary

SANZA Education is recruiting a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to support intervention work in Hackney, East London. You will co-deliver an alternative learning programme for four pupils, help with lesson delivery, resources, and behaviour management.

Starting 2 November 2026 through July 2027, with pay £100 per day rising to £124 from week 13 under AWR, paid via PAYE. This placement offers CPD, ongoing consultant support, and a focus on SEND inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3–6).
• Patient, collaborative team player for co-running sessions.
• Ability to switch between specialized alternative programming and general whole-class support.
• Reliable, nurturing professional focused on Hackney schools.

Responsibilities

• Targeted small-group support: co-deliver an alternative learning programme for 4 children.
• General classroom support: assist lesson delivery, resource preparation, and behaviour management.
• Fostering inclusivity: ensure the alternative programme is inclusive and engaging.
• Progress tracking: provide feedback to the class teacher and SENDCo on milestones and areas needing attention.
