Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Leigh to recruit a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant for an ongoing full-time position in Key Stage 2. The role starts immediately and requires strong literacy and numeracy support in Year 4, including small groups and 1-to-1.

Candidates should hold a Level 2 qualification and have the right to work in the UK. DBS update service is preferred; weekly PAYE payments are provided with a supportive education consultant

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 2.
• Support Year 4 students with literacy and numeracy in small groups and 1-to-1.
• Patient, proactive attitude with strong behaviour management and communication.
• Available to work full-time on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Support Year 4 students in small groups and on a 1-to-1 basis.
• Assist with literacy and numeracy development for Year 4 students.
• Demonstrate patient and proactive behaviour management and communication with pupils.
• Commitment to full-time ongoing role in a Leigh primary school.
