Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher for Coventry, CV6, on a full-time, ongoing basis with an immediate start. You will work in a welcoming school, delivering Year 4 lessons with no planning requirements, focusing on pupil progress and engagement.

The role requires QTS, an Enhanced DBS (update service), solid knowledge of the UK curriculum, and relevant UK teaching experience. DBS and safeguarding training must be up to date; references for the last 2 years are requested.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Experience teaching in the UK classroom is required.
• QTS is required.
• In-date safeguarding and allergy training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 4 class.
• Follow the school's existing lesson plans and curriculum requirements.
• Support pupils in making good academic and personal progress.
• Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement with learning.
• Differentiate activities and provide appropriate support to meet individual pupil needs.

We are currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Coventry, CV6, on a full-time, ongoing basis, with the position expected to run until at least Christmas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for an immediate start, with no planning requirement, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils without the additional workload of lesson planning.
