Aspire People are assisting a lovely primary school in Telford to appoint a Year 4 Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis. The role offers potential for permanent placement for the right candidate and starts ASAP.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have UK primary experience, and be confident with KS2 and Year 4 delivery, behaviour management, and building strong pupil and parent relationships.

Qualifications

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

  • ECTs may also be considered, depending on the requirements of the school.

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and purposeful lessons.
  • Teaching the full Year 4 curriculum.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils to achieve strong academic and personal progress.
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assessing, recording and monitoring pupil progress.
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
