Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a friendly primary school in Dagenham (IG11). The role covers planning, preparation, marking, and parents evenings within a full-time timetable.

The position is a Temporary Contract from September 2026 to July 2027, with a typical day from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm during term time. QTS or equivalent and UK KS1/KS2 experience are required, along with safeguarding training within the last year.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year KS1 or KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
