Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a Year 3 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Halewood, Knowsley. The role is full-time from 1st September 2026, supporting Year 3 pupils with a team of six staff. It’s not 1:1, but includes SEN support throughout the week, with hours 8:30–15:30, Monday to Friday.
Prospects for permanent recruitment exist in 2026/27. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required. Competitive daily rate (£90–£110) depending on experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school located in the Halewood area of Knowsley. This school are seeking nuturing and committed Teaching Assistants to join them on a full-time basis from 1st September 2026.
This role will be based in their Year 3 classrooms working as part of a team (6) of support staff across two classes. Whilst this role is not 1:1, it will involve supporting students with additional needs throughout the week – so experience in SEN is beneficial. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30. Opportunities for permanent recruitment available for the successful candidate in the 2026/7 academic year.
