Connex Education is seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in Portishead starting September 2026. You will support the class teacher and run small group interventions to help pupils progress across core subjects.
Ideal candidates possess prior primary TA experience, GCSEs in English and Maths, and an Enhanced DBS. The role offers daily pay and ongoing professional development through Connex Education.
Location: Portishead
Salary: £93–£110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time | September 2026
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2. Working alongside the class teacher, you’ll help create an engaging and inclusive classroom where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will provide classroom support, work with small intervention groups and individual pupils, and play an important role in helping every child achieve their full potential.
