Job summary

Academics on the Wirral is recruiting a dynamic Year 3 teacher to take on a well-resourced classroom in Bromborough. The role is full-time and aligned with the Main Pay Scale for long-term supply, with flexible 130-160 daily rate for short-term cover.

You will deliver engaging schemes in maths and English, support transition to Key Stage 2, and lead the class with high standards of behaviour, collaboration, and modern teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience as a primary educator or specialized Year 3 teacher.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging schemes of work in maths, English, and foundation subjects.
• Support pupils in transitioning to Key Stage 2.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement and collaborative learning.
• Apply up-to-date pedagogy backed by modern education practices.
