Job summary

Randstad Education in Warrington is looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher to lead a lower KS2 class and deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and academic growth.

You will plan, assess, and track pupil progress while fostering an inclusive, collaborative classroom environment. QTS required; ECTs are welcome; DBS updated. Daily rate £135-£200, with potential for Temp-to-Perm.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in Key Stage 1 with pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects.
  • Full class responsibility from planning to assessment and reporting.

Salary: £135.00 - £200 per day (Experience Dependent) Contract: Full-Time, Temporary / Temp-to-Perm

The Opportunity: Make an Impact in Key Stage 2

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 3 class? We are working closely with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Warrington to appoint a dedicated lower KS2 Class Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 2:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
  • Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
  • Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
  • Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
