Job summary

Engage Partners Limited is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Watford. You will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, and support pupils as they transition from KS1 to KS2.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has UK primary teaching experience, and strong classroom management. You’ll work with teaching assistants and senior staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment and drive pupil progress.

Qualifications

• QTS is required and experience in a UK primary setting is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are expected.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a Year 3 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Support pupils as they transition from KS1 into KS2.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners.
