Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a Year 3 Primary Teacher for a part‑time role in Tottington, Bury, starting January 2027. The position is 3 days per week, ongoing, ideal for an experienced KS2 teacher seeking flexibility.

The role involves planning, delivering and assessing lessons within the National Curriculum, collaborating with teaching assistants and leadership, and maintaining high expectations. ECTs may be considered.

Qualifications

• QTS and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with Update Service.
• References covering the last 2 years of employment.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons to a Year 3 class.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, progress and achievement.
• Commit to working 3 days per week on an ongoing basis.
