Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• KS2 classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to teach English, mathematics and foundation subjects.
• Reliable, with a calm and consistent approach to management.
• Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons across the curriculum.
• Ensure consistency and continuity across three teaching days.
• Support pupils with reading, writing, mathematics and wider curriculum.
• Adapt teaching for different abilities including SEND.
• Use assessment to identify misconceptions and plan next steps.
• Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and KS2 team.
• Complete marking and provide constructive feedback to pupils.
• Communicate clearly with the cover teacher for the remainder of the week.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
