Job summary

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Aintree, Liverpool, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant from October half-term 2026, with a clear temporary-to-permanent progression. Responsibilities

• Support two Year 2 pupils with learning and engagement
• Help pupils access classroom activities and follow instructions
• Break tasks into clear, manageable steps
• Provide encouragement, reassurance and consistent support
• Support development of confidence and independence
• Assist with phonics, reading, writing and early mathematics
• Use visual resources and adapted activities as needed
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Monitor progress and feed back to teacher and SENCO
• Collaborate with school staff to provide consistent support
