Job summary

Connex Education is seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Wavertree area of Liverpool. The role is full-time, 8:30-3:30, in Year 2, supporting pupils including those with SEN. Immediate start and potential for permanent recruitment.

Successful candidates will have GCSE English/Maths, a TA qualification (desirable), and a current DBS or willingness to obtain one through Connex. Monday to Friday with a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

• Supports KS1 pupils in Year 2 and across the class.
• Experience with SEN pupils and inclusive practices.
• Maintains professional standards and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Year 2 class with teaching staff.
• Support learning and behaviour in a inclusive classroom.
• Attend to pupils’ needs during lessons and transitions.
