Ripple Education in the North East is recruiting a qualified Year 2 teacher for a primary school near Ashington. This full-time post starts immediately on a short-term basis, with potential to continue and become a longer placement.

The role involves planning and delivering Year 2 lessons, creating a safe, engaging classroom, assessing progress and collaborating with teaching assistants and the wider school team. Commitment to safeguarding and high standards is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• High expectations and safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to build relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Availability to work full-time.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons.
• Create a positive, safe and well-managed classroom.
