Ripple Education is recruiting an EYFS SEND Support Assistant for a primary school near Ashington, with an immediate start. This full-time role supports children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering nurturing, consistent and individualised support to help children feel safe, included and ready to learn.

You will work with the Early Years team, SENCO and teachers to provide targeted support, adapt activities, and promote emotional regulation and social development.

Formación

• Experience working with Early Years children and understanding of EYFS.
• Experience supporting children with SEND or transferable experience.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
• Availability for full-time role with an immediate start.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, small-group and classroom support.
• Support children with their learning, play, communication and development.
• Help children develop independence, confidence and social skills.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs.
• Support communication and interaction and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with the class teacher, Early Years team and SENCO.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive EY environment.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
