Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a 3-day-per-week basis, starting after the October half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, understands the KS1 curriculum, and will deliver creative, engaging, and well-differentiated lessons while accelerating pupil progress and building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and have strong KS1 curriculum knowledge.
• Experience with Year 2 or KS1 teaching.
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons and assess pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 2 class with KS1 focus.
• Deliver creative, differentiated lessons.
• Accelerate pupil progress and assess learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Collaborate with school team to support student outcomes.
