Year 2 Teacher - Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming primary school in Bolton that is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating purposeful learning experiences and helping children develop confidence as they move through Key Stage 1.

The successful teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while creating a classroom environment where pupils feel secure, motivated and ready to learn. The school is looking for someone who can combine strong subject knowledge with a warm and consistent approach to classroom management.

You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil understanding and use assessment information to adapt your teaching. Working closely with colleagues will also be an important part of the role, particularly when supporting children with differing levels of attainment and additional learning needs.

The role includes:

• Teaching a Year 2 class on a full-time basis
• Planning and delivering lessons across the primary curriculum
• Supporting pupils with their transition through KS1
• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate assessment records
