Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a proactive Year 2 teacher to join our friendly school from January 2027 until the end of the summer term 2027. The role is on a temporary contract and sits on the Main Pay Scale up to M6, with ECTs welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Year 2 class teaching experience or exposure to Key Stage 1.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and working with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 2 class to support attainment and progression.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment with a strong team ethos.
• Engage with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing.
• Interviews will include a teaching task, unseen task and HR/work checks.
