Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher for a fixed-term post in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, from January 2027 to July 2027. The role focuses on delivering engaging Key Stage 1 lessons and maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.

The successful candidate will plan, assess, and collaborate with teaching assistants to support pupil progress, while communicating with parents and the wider school community. QTS is required.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum KS1.

The Role

• Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
• Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
