Water Mill Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our caring team. You will ensure pupils’ learning, progress and well-being while delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1/KS2.

We value inclusive practice, effective assessment, and strong collaboration with families and colleagues to create a positive, stimulating learning environment where every child thrives.

Qualifications

  • A qualified teacher with QTS.
  • Experience in teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Knowledgeable about effective classroom organisation, teaching strategies, assessment, and statutory requirements.
  • Committed to safeguarding, Prevent and inclusive practice.
  • Able to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, parents and external agencies.
  • Organised, enthusiastic, empathetic, approachable and able to create a positive learning environment.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience working closely with parents or across multiple schools, with strong leadership opportunities.

As a Class Teacher at Water Mill Primary School, you will:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Year 2 Class Teacher This could be a full time or part time role which could be 3 or 4 days for the right candidate to join our team and contribute to our culture of high expectations, creativity, and genuine care for each learner.,
