Job summary

Flourish Education in Evesham is seeking an experienced Year 2/3 Teacher for a fixed-term position starting soon and running until December. The role involves teaching a mixed Year 2/3 class with planning provided, enabling you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’ learning.

The ideal candidate will have QTS, strong KS1/KS2 knowledge, and experience teaching Year 2 with Year 3 experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Previous experience teaching within a Primary School setting.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2, with Year 3 experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of KS1 and KS2 curricula.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in the mixed Year 2/3 class.
• Follow existing lesson plans and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Differentiate instruction to support a range of abilities.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and high expectations.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff to support pupil progress.
• Safeguard and promote pupil wellbeing in line with school policies.
