Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Hindley, WN2, from September 2026. The role supports Year 1 and Year 2 pupils across KS1, helping them engage with learning in a nurturing environment and building confidence.

The successful candidate will have recent classroom experience, solid numeracy and literacy skills, and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Hindley, WN2, to work across both the Year 1 and Year 2 classes to support the KS1 pupils with their learning. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
