Job summary

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a welcoming Bolton primary school, is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a full-time, Mon-Fri role (8:30am–3:30pm) starting in October. You will plan and deliver KS1 lessons, assess pupil progress, and foster an inclusive classroom.

Collaboration with staff and leaders is essential as you contribute to school life. The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS1 experience, strong management, and a passion for differentiated teaching within the UK National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning for a range of abilities.
• Solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress, adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders.
• Play an active role in the wider life of the school.
