Job summary

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Garstang seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join after October half-term. This is a full-time, long-term placement open to both ECTs and experienced teachers who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils build strong foundations during their Key Stage 1 journey.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and nurturing classroom environment

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Applications welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Full-time Year 1 Teacher position.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote the best outcomes for pupils.
