Job summary

Smile Education is seeking an experienced Year 1 teacher for a primary school in the WS10 area. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons while supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

The ideal candidate is UK-qualified with KS1/Year 1 experience and can differentiate learning, assess progress, and work collaboratively with staff and parents. Location: WS10; Role: Experienced Year 1 teacher.

• Experience teaching KS1 and Year 1.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons.
• Support pupils across learning and development.
• Differentiate lessons to meet pupil needs.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and progress.
• Support social and emotional development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues.
• Contribute to assessment and record keeping.
• Communicate with colleagues and parents as required.
