Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Spennymoor school. The role is full-time and temporary, running five days a week from 8.30am to 3.30pm to support a Year 1 pupil with autism and sensory needs on a 1:1 basis.

Salary is paid weekly (£462.80–£525) depending on experience and qualifications, with ASAP start through July 2027. The school offers a supportive leadership team and accessible public transport.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support a Year 1 pupil with additional needs 1:1.
• Assist in delivering learning activities 8.30am–3.30pm, five days a week.
• Work as part of a friendly school team to support inclusion.
