Job summary

Air Liquide Oil & Gas Services Ltd (ALOS) in Aberdeen is seeking a Yardman/Materials Coordinator to manage the yard and materials at our Greenbank Road base. You will maintain stock records, perform counts, keep the area clean and safe, and issue items to workshop personnel with ERP updates.

The Yard duties include goods in/out, receiving deliveries, inspecting items, tracking equipment, forklift operations, and supporting maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification B1/B2 required.
• Team player with excellent communication.
• Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google environment and good typing skills.
• Strong time management and ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and documentation (min/max levels).
• Carry out stock counts and liaise with finance and other departments.
• Keep store area clean, organised and safe (5S).
• Issue rolls, consumables and spare parts to workshop personnel; record in ERP.
• Raise PR and inform Procurement of requirements; GR of PRs raised.
• All goods in/out tasks, mobilising/demobilising equipment.
• Receive deliveries, inspect for accuracy and damage, update equipment tracking system.

An opportunity has arisen for a Yardman/Materials Coordinator, this role is responsible for the yard and materials at our Greenbank Road base. The Materials Coordinator aspects of the role are:

• Maintain accurate stock records and documentation, including min/max levels
• Carry out stock counts and record the results, liaise with finance and other departments
• Ensure the store area is clean, organised and safe and aligned with 5S.
• Issue rolls, consumables and spare parts to workshop personnel, whilst maintaining accuracy in ERP system
• Raise PR and advise the Procurement department of requirements. GR of PR's raised

The Yard aspects of the role are:

• All tasks associated with goods in and out, including mobilising and demobilising equipment
• Receiving incoming deliveries, inspecting goods for accuracy and damage
• Ensure the equipment tracking system is accurate at all times, all items are scanned upon arrival and the system updated.
• Single cylinder sorting
• Painting assets and single cylinders when required for both Maintenance and Production teams
• Assisting in sling operations with 3rd party vendors
• General yard duties and housekeeping, including but not limited to sweeping and ensuring barriers are erected at all times
• Forklift operations
• Supporting with Yard administration
• Preparing single cylinders and local orders for load out
• Assist maintenance and production as and when required
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.
