Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Yard Sales Supervisor for our Dundee (DD2 3QQ) branch. This full-time role runs Monday-Friday 7.30am–5.00pm and alternating Saturdays 8.00am–12.00pm.

You’ll welcome customers, understand products, plan daily routes, assist with orders, and support management as a keyholder. We value customer service, enthusiasm, decency, and team spirit, with a competitive basic salary and benefits including pension, life assurance, and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and engage with their projects.
• Know product lines to offer helpful advice.
• Set up the day for the team, including delivery drivers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and forklift operations (training provided).
• Support management and act as a keyholder when needed.
• Check deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
• Maintain stock levels in warehouse and yard with regular counts.
• Keep the branch clean and safe, prioritising health & safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday7.30am – 5.00pm and every other Saturday at 8.00am – 12.00pm

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

• Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice

• Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning

• Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)

• Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

• Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
