Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver outstanding service across yard, counter and shop floor. You will engage customers, understand needs, and contribute to sales and service excellence in a full-time role with clear progression opportunities.

Responsibilities include forklift-appropriate loading, offloading, and maintaining high safety standards while developing product knowledge to meet client demands. Competitive salary and benefits await.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:00 – 16:30, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service

• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor

• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles

• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required

• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
