Job summary

Jewson in Glasgow (Bearsden Road) is recruiting a Yard Sales Advisor to help customers and operate the yard and shop floor.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 9:30am–17:00pm, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00; training on forklift and loading provided.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers, ascertain needs and deliver quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely; offload, pick, pack, restock and load vehicles.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service.
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines.
• Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift (training provided).
