Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK UK, are recruiting for a Yard Sales Adviser at our Bideford branch. You will deliver excellent customer service, help customers find products, and support yard, counter and shop floor operations.

The role is full-time, with Monday-Friday shifts and alternate Saturdays; training will be provided for forklift use and safety. You will build relationships with customers and contribute to sales and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin and service
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training provided)
