Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK UK, is recruiting for a Yard Sales Advisor at Totnes. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00 with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, based at the Totnes branch. You will deliver friendly, efficient service and help customers find exactly what they need.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer and provide quick, efficient service
• Ask open questions to understand customer needs and future requirements
• Maintain standards across yard, counter and shopfloor
• Operate machinery safely and assist with offloading, picking, packing and loading
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines
• Loading/unloading vehicles manually and with forklift (training provided)

We are recruiting for a Yard Sales Advisor to join our friendly Jewson branch in Totnes TQ9 5JA

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday7:30 –17:00, and every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

• Acknowledge every customer,ascertaintheirneedsand wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across theyard,counterandshopfloor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing,restockingand loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service asrequired
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
