Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, invites applications for a Yard Sales Advisor position based in Morecambe (LA3 3DT). This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, plus alternating Saturdays 08:00–12:00.

You will deliver outstanding service, understand customer needs, maintain yard and shop standards, and support sales initiatives. Training will be provided for forklift use and safety.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service.
• Ask open questions to build relationships and understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key tasks such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Load and unload vehicles manually and with forklift (training provided).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Sales Advisor based in our thriving Morecambe (LA3 3DT) branch!

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service
• Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs
• Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
• Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
• Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs
• Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)
