Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Yard Sales Advisor for our Northallerton branch. This full-time post runs Monday to Friday 7.30am–5pm, with every other Saturday 8am–12pm. You will greet customers, identify needs, and deliver quick, friendly service while maintaining yard, counter and shop-floor standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and excellent communication.
• Willingness to operate forklift after training.
• Ability to load/unload, stock and maintain yard standards.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer and ascertain their needs.
• Ask open questions to build relationships and understand requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform offloading, picking, packing and loading.
• Load and unload vehicles, and assist with restocking.
• Support sales initiatives and product knowledge development.
