Job summary

Jewson Major Build Solutions, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Yard Sales Advisor for our Durham branch (DH1 2YN). The role supports a safe, efficient yard operation with daily duties including loading/unloading, goods handling, and customer service.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, focus on safety, teamwork, and learning. A positive attitude, reliability, and good communication are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have MHE licence and driving licence (desirable)
• Customer-focused with attention to safety and quality

• Load, unload, store and handle goods in line with targets
• Follow health and safety and housekeeping standards
• Deliver high levels of customer service
• Carry out routine checks accurately and on time
• Pick and load vehicles efficiently with manual handling

Working hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm

• Maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and correctly
• Load, unload, store and handle goods in line with company targets
• Follow all health and safety and housekeeping standards
• Complete routine checks accurately and on time
• Pick and load vehicles efficiently, including manual handling tasks
• Support health and safety performance and targets
• Deliver high levels of customer service
• Commit to learning and development within the role
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as required
